Sixth grade students remain in mostly self-contained classrooms, allowing them the time to adjust to middle school and incorporating moving from class to class during the latter part of the day.
The Bible is integrated into each of the middle school classes on a daily basis. Middle school and high school students gather together for a weekly chapel on Wednesdays. Each middle school student is paired with a high school student for Mentor Buddies once a month at chapel as well which creates discipleship between the grades.
Besides the core classes, we also require our students to take music, PE, Spanish, and computer classes each year. Students take a study skills class all three years to prepare them and give them the needed tools for high school. Additionally, there are several electives they may choose from.
For extracurricular activities students can participate in volleyball, soccer, basketball and track. Middle school students, along with high school students may also help provide and lead worship for elementary chapel.
